In Bfa Will You Get Weapons Again
Anyone else just want their Artifact weapon back?
I very well might exist the just one, I merely loved having my Ashbringer and learning new abilities and passives through information technology, deciding on what was more of import to me as I gained ability through it.
Possibly its nostalga, maybe not. But simply getting a random weapon means very little now, I don't know just wish I could have that system back.

Yes, definitely. Swapping out the Ashbringer for a random green polearm I got in Tiragarde Sound was 1 of my worst WoW moments.

"The staff of Sargeras! Created by the Legion's greatest warlocks and infused with the power of the night titan himself! ....Oh, this pocketknife has better stats. Never mind."
level two
Agreed. And the reason given that information technology was because we used the artifacts to "cleanse the sword of Sargeras" felt so weird... Like, in that location's still a giant sword stuck in the planet, and the planet is still bleeding. So we only put a bandage on a cleaved arm and called it a day? And so just tossed aside our artifacts because the artifact power we collected on the Cleaved Isles was drained? Couldn't nosotros have infused them with the Azerite? Or found some other ability to infuse them with?

I felt that comparatively to current gear. I played for what, 3 months in the get-go of SL, getting full normal nathria and some heroic pieces, cut to 2 days ago where im in ZM replacing my shiny purples with vendor greens for soul vomit (anima).

Yep delight. Whole concept of legion focusing on classe/spec identity with course halls etc, was astonishing.
level i
Yep, I want them dorsum.
Literally the only borrowed ability arrangement I don't mind having back.
-
Spec tailored, powers didn't feel out of place
-
Gave an endgame progression in the form of cosmetics
-
Solved the issue of weapon looting that Personal Loot introduced (even if in Legion Chief Loot all the same existed)
-
Made weapon progression way more linear than information technology is atm, past making the jumps in ilvl smaller due to Relics

Powers non feeling out of place is and then important to me. I mained a WL in BFA, and having to summon this gilt blue generic azerite elemental as an affliction warlock merely felt and so wrong
level 2
Having to go back to looting weapons felt so fucking bad in BFA and Shadowlands. Goose egg similar rocking high ilvl gear except my fucking offhand and/or shield!
level 2
A lot of the powers felt core to the specs and so nosotros lost them and have been in wheelchairs.
How/why the hell did they bring dorsum pets having pathing issues.

I think it would exist cool if each class got a unique item to equip. Everyone gets it and equally the expansion goes yous unlock more than from it just similar the weapons. Shamans should take a totem, prayer book for priests, holy symbol for paladins, quiver for hunters on and on. Would exist a nice way to integrate class specific quest lines in the hereafter
level ii
I too remember they need to bring back the quondam relic/libram/quiver/wand/ranged weapon slot.

100% I've had this conversation with friends countless times, Legion artifacts and the large class identity push was one of the biggest draws for me in years and so BFA hit and essentially reverted information technology all rather than building farther on class identity. I would like to take seen the organisation grow and personally preferred having Fewer college quality weapon skins that required fourth dimension and effort to unlock especially when the community came together in some cases to find them.
level 1
Not gonna lie, it was rather nice not having to worry about weapon drops for an entire expansion. As a class that can swap between staff and 1h+focus, few things feel worse than having a 1h/oh drib and having nothing to pair it with.
level ii
That was my favorite function. Everyone had three relics to acquire no affair if you had i weapon, or 2 equipped. And that fabricated the relics drop allllll the fourth dimension. Even if you didn't get the one you wanted, at to the lowest degree you could get the ilvl
level 1
And the fact this is a weapon is so double cool. Your DPS increases from the abilities and passiv in the Skilltree + direct ilvl upgrades.
More than try = more DPS and relics were then nice, would have wished relics would requite some cool passiv or activ bonus besides similar conduits

I loved the acquit artifact and the powers information technology had.
The look of it. Not and so much, but glad Blizz fabricated it Tmogable forms instead of having to wear them.
I really wish they'd give us them back or at least bake some of the things from them into specs. =/ It felt bad losing a buncha those things and I fifty-fifty miss the small things like Moonfire giving I forget - like up to 3% Dmg reduction? Give me small interactive stuff with that with my abilities again, delight Blizz.
level i
Grade-exclusive weapons really gave everyone more personality, and collecting the skins was enjoyable. Definitely beats whatever weapon drops they have had since
